About Me

Get to know me!

Hi, my name is Kanad and I am a curious, driven, and hands-on mechanical engineer with a strong passion for robotics and autonomous systems.

I graduated from Ahmedabad University in 2025 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. I'm currently pursuing my MS in Mechatronics and Robotics at NYU Tandon.

During my undergraduate studies, I developed a deep interest in building autonomous robots, which led me to work on award-winning rover systems, biomimicking underwater robots, and publish research in CFD simulations.

Outside of academics, I enjoy working on personal tech projects, exploring control systems, and continuously learning through hands-on experimentation. I'm also passionate about sharing knowledge and have worked as a Teaching Assistant for AI and engineering courses.

I believe in learning by doing and strive to bridge mechanical systems with intelligent control. I'm always excited to collaborate, build, and explore what's possible in robotics and engineering.
